At the kuiri kune cooking events at the ibz Karlsruhe you can discover food from all over the world! In small groups you cook and enjoy international culinary delights. On the 15 March, you can look forward to an Iranian lamb and bovine ragout.

International Cooking Event with Iranian lamb and bovine ragout
This month’s cooking event is part of the Karlsruher weeks against racism. There will cook Iranian food: Xoresht-e-Qeymeh – lamb and bovine ragout with lampeh (yellow lentils) and lime with iranian rice and tadiqh from the rice cooker. The meat comes from Hofgut Becker and a turkish supermarket. There will be a dessert too, but that‘s a suprise for you!

During the dinner, you get in touch with other international newcomers or locals. You can talk to the course coordinator Somajeh Cathrin Noheh-Khan if you want to bring your own recipe for a special dish.

General information about the international cooking event kuiri kune
By arrangements the cooking group tries to find a cuisine that doesn’t depend on religion or lifestyle (vegetarian) so that everyone can enjoy the event. When you chose your own recipe, you bring the ingredients with you to the cooking evening. Also, you can bring some suitable music to create the right atmosphere. The cost of the ingredient will be shared by the other participants (max. 5€/person).
You can register for one event, or directly for several. Each cooking event there are maximum 10 people.
