The topics virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have not just recently developed. For a few years, these topics have been very present.
But above all with the hype of Pokemón Go last year, the topic of augmented reality was for the first time really mass-effective. Also the Messenger Snapchat uses augmented reality with its dog ears and dog tags. The technology is therefore increasingly moving into our daily lives and communication.
In marketing, AR and VR are now also increasingly on the move – some blogs are even talking about a revolution! In 2013, the COMPUTERWOCHE still thought that Virtual Reality was still one of the biggest flops of IT history. At the E-Commerce Forum Karlsruhe on June 1, 2017, we will discuss the opportunities that these technologies have today and in the future, and the operational scenarios and possibilities for (E-) Commerce.

Start is at 6:30 pm and at 7:30 pm the lectures and discussions start. Before and after, there are fingerfoods as well as beverages and the various AR and VR glasses can and should be tried out.
